Household chores are good for children and family.

Household chores are good for children and family.

Each family expects children to help in some way daily to the Household chores.

Are good for children and for the whole family.

Children learn a lot from these chores.

The children learn skills they can use when they grow up, like preparing meals, cleaning, organising and keeping a garden.

Little Girl Cooking“The household chores done regularly by the children help them to communicate clearly, negotiate,
cooperate and work as a team”, says

Mr Chitresh Mathur – cofounder Intelligentsia – A Highly
Researched Play-school.

The family that shares housework with children helps them work better and reduce family stress.

The chores get done sooner and it frees up time for the family to spend doing fun things together.

The children can be asked to contribute depending on the nature of work that suit your children’s ages and abilities.

The child should not be made to do a chore that’s dangerous for a child.

The kid can Be asked to do easy jobs like looking after his own toys.

These chores make the child feel that his
Contribution is important.

Jobs like these are likely to give your child a sense of responsibility.

All the Parents need to motivate there child by doing the chore together till the child is ready to do it on his/her
own.

They also need to write the task down for a child to remember.

The Parents should make  sure that the child is persuaded to do a particular job and the importance of the job is explained.

The parents should praise the child and make sure that the child is rewarded in a particular way.

The child may not be able to put in all the efforts initially but the parents must motivate the child

And explain the job again and again.

The child must be told that he’s doing well.

Older children can Look after the younger children by amusing them, distracting them, protecting them and so on.

There are a number of chores that children of various ages can do.

But the parent should keep in a mind that children mature at their own pace and not all the kids will be capable of every task at the same age.

It is easy for a child to continue performing the same chores because they’re good at them,

but introducing new chores at regular intervals will actually benefit them in the long wrong.
